Thank you so much for your interest in the Carver County Horticultural Society. We look forward to providing you and other gardening-minded residents of Carver County and the surrounding Minnesota area with informative programs, rewarding volunteer opportunities, and a friendly, inclusive atmosphere at our monthly CCHS meetings.

We hope you will want to become a vital part of CCHS by becoming a full member. If you’re not from the immediate area, or you’re not sure you’ll like us, then by all means feel free to drop by now and then and just try us out. But we’re really hoping to develop a community within a community -- a group of colleagues and friends who want to learn together, to enjoy each other, and to openly share ideas with one another.

We want this organization to be yours. We want you to feel that your membership here really matters, that your voice is really heard, and that your efforts are really appreciated. The best way to become a part of CCHS is to get involved – dig in and help. It’s still in the formative stages. CCHS can become whatever we want it to become. But it won’t live long on the efforts of just a few. In a living, breathing organism, all of its parts need to perform. The longevity and vitality of CCHS will depend on its membership.

So make an effort to get to know us, to become involved, and to benefit from all that we, collectively, have to offer each other. I’m really looking forward to our future.

Sincerely,

Annette Hentz

President, CCHS
